Cross infection control

Hygiene and safety are uppermost in our mind at Appledore Dental Clinic at all times.

Our team all wear disposable gloves and masks during treatment and all instruments are sterilised. We have strict procedures in place to ensure that cross infection control is fully implemented, as your safety is very important to us.

Disposable items such as gloves, cups, bibs and needles are used wherever possible. These are thrown away after each and every patient. Non-disposable items are ultrasonically cleaned and sterilised in an autoclave, and the surfaces in the surgery are cleaned with disinfectant between each patient.
